I had the pleasure of meeting Mallory and Jordon last fall on a freezing cold day for their engagement session. They had driven from Wichita, KS and bundled up for some winter-esque photos… glad the temperature agreed with their choice.
A few weeks ago now, my husband and I drove to Wichita and this time, the weather was anything but cool. It was actually raining and let up just in time for their first look. As Mallory was getting ready, she remarked to me that during her cocktail hour, she wanted to go see her grandfather who was in a nearby hospital. I asked if I could go with her to capture those moments and I’m so glad I did. They were the highlight of my day, and I suspect also the highlight of her grandfather’s day.
What was so special about this couple is that Mallory is the first bride to thank and acknowledge how great it was to work with BOTH Kevin and I. This photography dream is definitely all mine, but it’s so powerful and amazing to have a spouse that is willing to learn the craft and dedicate his weekends to helping me love on and capture others.
