I had the honor and privilege of capturing Caitlin and Carter’s wedding a few weeks ago at the Oklahoma Golf and Country Club. I knew they were special when I met with them and their families over breakfast with their wedding planner Talia from Inspired Events and Design. Hearing their friends and family share memories of the two at their rehearsal dinner confirmed it.
I was able to spend several days with Caitlin’s family since a knee injury prevented her from participating in her bridal session too long before her ceremony. They were all kind, generous and loving towards one another. As you can imagine, when shooting weddings, I see it all but I can confirm these two families are the real deal.
As I was reflecting on the wedding with my husband after, I realized there was one unique detail that I had yet to capture with any wedding thus far… and I’m nearing 100 weddings… Caitlin and Connor’s parents and available grandparents met with them to pray over and bless their marriage before their ceremony. I love the legacy that these two are walking into, as well as the love and blessings. These two not only have amazing models to watch, but are surrounded with such sweet love!
