Sweetest Katherine. I don’t always have the pleasure of knowing my brides for a long time. Usually, a bride contacts me after she gets engaged and we get to meet over coffee and make plans for her dreamy day. However, Katherine is different. I met Katherine in the summer of 2014; she was a model for a beautiful styled shoot a friend put on. At the shoot, Katherine and I got to talking and found we had one major thing in common… we had both lost our moms. After trading numbers, Katherine and I stayed in touch and chatted on and off.

When it finally came time for Katherine to get engaged, I was so thrilled to get her call. I knew that this would be such a sweet wedding. We had a blast styling her engagement session in the Gloss Mountains with her favorite vendors and headed to Spain Ranch for her big day.

I loved getting to meet her family and seeing those she loved surround her with such support. As her Uncle united Katherine and Caleb, I was met with tears as he spoke about her mom. Such a sweet and tender moment to hear how proud her mom would have been to be sitting there, at the chair in front with a bouquet placed on it. There are not many moments like that and it was such an honor to get to be there with her.
